are a favorite around here. So today for math, we decided to see who can read a recipe and measure the most acurately (and why that is important). We also reviewed skills in programming the oven, dropping the accurate amount of dough into each mini tin and how to measure a perfectly level cup or teaspoon. The kids had a great time making these and they turned out pretty tasty in spite of amount of mixing it takes to make sure everyone gets their turn.
This, while David was saying..."Crack it like a man!" to which I pray he was referring to the egg.

six months, two Mexicans, some lumber, lots of dirt, a few bolts, some rocks, way too much money, and of course some doggie defenses, but the new garden is complete!
Bill promised me this for my birthday last year and my only request was that it be completed before the planting date of April 15. He had time to spare, and he did an excellent job. He planned and prepared long before he actually started building. He finished constructing the beds a few days ago, and this morning he rented a truck and hired two helpers to get everything delivered and installed.
Didn't he do a good job? The pressure is on to grow some seriously good veggies this year!
And this little love came to spend the night with her girl. I have been in puppy love for almost 24 hours now and it won't be enough! Look how much she has grown!
And the kids are playing on the trampoline with soap and water, a bouncy slip and slide of sorts.
