Isn't it a beauty?

We sent out the background fabric with the directions for the block and members added their own blues and reds.

I assembled it and added the borders at the retreat last weekend.

It will be machine quilted by a longarm professional. (NOT me, yeah!)

Tickets will be on sale in April if you are interested!

the Schlep Bag from the workshop with CPQG today.

It was fun and easy and quick!

She cried with joy...

and so did the rest of us!

Kelly has been accepted to be an out-of-district student at the high school of her choice.

The high school all of her friends are attending and that she was going to attend until the recent redistricting. We fought the good fight but lost that battle, and now, she will get to go anyway!!!

We are beyond ecstatic, and have our fingers crossed that the boys will be accepted next year.

Seriously, we cannot remember the last time we were this HAPPY and this RELIEVED.

Whew.

a joy-filled, eye rolling, giggling, crazy, sweet, wonderful, silly and AWESOME experience.

So true...

Was really reminded of this last night while watching THE HELP with my book club buddies!
I feel so lucky to be surrounded by wonderful women who are encouraging, supportive and kind.

They had a good ride today...

They usually do.

But the weather was much better today as well.

Meanwhile, Oliver and Armani were being "boys" in the pasture.

They were making quite a racket.

Typical boys.

Dinner was delicious!

Thanks to Mary Ruth we had shrimp chowder... Yum!

Later tonight we will indulge in the dessert.

Rainy Days are perfect for...

Playing with blocks

and putting them together

while playing with my new toy

and taking a nap

or two on the sofa.

Rainy days are good for lots of nice things.
